Jordan Brand | THE ONE GLOBAL FINALS
Pier 17 NYC
Role: Creative Director, Experiential
Jordan Brand hosted The One global basketball tournament for the second consecutive year, bringing together the world’s best one-on-one hoopers for a premier competition with regional qualifiers in more than 17 cities.
As Creative Lead with Game Seven Agency, I directed creative + design for Jordan Brand’s THE ONE Global Finals, a first-of-its-kind global 1v1 basketball championship. Working hand in hand with Jordan Brand Creative, I oversaw concept development through execution, all encompassing custom uniform design to full court and environment build out.
The rooftop of Pier 17 was transformed into a global stage, hosting the world’s top hoopers, live music performances, and an unforgettable drone show celebrating 40 years of Michael Jordan’s legacy. My role spanned creative direction for spatial design, visual identity integration, and on-site build decisions, ensuring every touchpoint reflected Jordan Brand’s culture and elevated the experience for athletes, fans, and a worldwide livestream audience on NBA’s channels.
This project represented a true blend of cultural storytelling, design innovation, and collaborative partnership, bringing together brand, sport, and community at an iconic NYC landmark. The livestream reached more than 11 million viewers, amplifying the event’s impact far beyond New York and solidifying it as a true global celebration of basketball culture and legacy.
“The One tournament provides a platform for young athletes from around the world to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level. This event embodies Jordan Brand’s spirit of competition and excellence, and we look forward to seeing the incredible performances from these talented hoopers as they chase greatness.” — Sarah Mensah, President, Jordan Brand
